According to the National Bureau of statistics, in the budgetary sector the average salary in September 2014 made up 3595,8 lei (+12% compared with September 2013), and in the real sector of the economy - 4540,1 lei (+14,1%).

The highest average salary in Moldova in September 2014 was received in the sector of informational services and communications - 10544,6 lei; enterprises operating in the field of production and supply of electric and thermal energy, gas, and hot water - 7976,7 lei; representatives of the financial and insurance sectors - 6945,8 lei. The average salary in professional, scientific and technical activities amounted 5354,8 leis, public administration and defense; social security - 4789,8 leis.

The lowest average salary in September 2014 was registered in the arts, recreation and entertainment sectors- 2577,8 lei; workers in hotels and catering - 2830,8 lei; agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 3162,8 leis.

The average salary in the areas of administrative activities and support services in September 2014 was 3370,9 lei; education - 3535,1 lei; trade, repair of cars and motorcycles - 3689,2 lei; health and social services - 3949,7 lei; real estate transactions - 3905,6 lei; at the enterprises of processing industry - 4152,1 lei; the enterprises of water supply; treatment and processing of waste and recovery operations - 4319,2 lei; transport and storage - 4336,2 lei; construction - 4521,9 lei; mining enterprises- 4923,7 leis.
