Moldova to Spend EUR100 000 for Promotion of Tourism
OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2014. This was announced by the Director of the national tourism Agency during the running program, and the national brand, which has become the “Life Tree”.
The event is organized by the Agency for tourism of Moldova in collaboration with associations in the tourism sector and the technical and practical support of USAID CEED II. The National tourist brand of Moldova symbolizes hospitality, naturalness, sincerity and authenticity. The tourism slogan – “Discover the routers of life” is calling to the path of new life discoveries. The launch of the national brand on a global level will take place on 24 November within the framework of the information campaign on the Euro news channel.
The Agency for tourism of Moldova in collaboration with associations in the tourism sector and USAID CEED II has developed a program called The "National tourist brand". The program includes: analysis of the target markets and strategic competitive products, annual marketing plan, visual image, etc. The Director of the National tourism Agency of Moldova Nicolai Platon noted that the promotion and tourism potential is the shared responsibility of the state, agencies, strategic partners.
The Deputy Director of the Agency Stanislav Rusu said that promising countries to raise their citizens are the UK, France, Scandinavia and others. He also noted that explores and tourism market of China, Japan, USA and others. Nicolai Platon noted that the promotion of tourism will not only lead to the inflow of foreign tourists and investment. U.S. Ambassador in Moldova William Mozer noted the potential of the country and drew attention to the importance of implementing technology in the development of the tourism industry. The Minister of agriculture and food industry Vasile Bumacov said that it was important to promote the tourism image of Moldova not only abroad, but also within the country.
