OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2014. The Deputy Chairman of the SSB RT “Amonatbonk” Sirojidin Ikromov met with the Mission of International Monetary Fund lead by Mr. Jonathan Dann. The meeting was attended by a large number of responsible people.

During the meeting a wide range of issues was discussed: it is economical situation of the country as a whole and the banking system of Tajikistan in particular, as well as the strategy of Amonatbank in the condition of today’s market. The main attention from IMF side was paid to the possibility of market risks increase, including currency risks and risks related to the inter-bank crediting, taking into account fluctuations in exchange rates  and general political situation in the world.

Mr. Ikromov in his turn presented to the attendees data and evidence in all financial indicators and announced a series of measures taken to reduce existing risks and prevent the emergence of new risks.

According to Mr. Ikromov, It is worth noting that the positive aspects are the increase in the share of national currency in bank operations of the SSB RT "Amonatbonk"and stable growth of the Bank's main criteria.

It should be noted that the SSB RT "Amonatbonk" attaches great importance to cooperation with international financial institutions and maintains regular working contacts with representatives of IMF.
