GE Oil & Gas Showcases Advanced Technologies at ADIPEC 2014

GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) will highlight its advanced technologies that drive significant leaps in energy sector efficiency and productivity at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, November 10-13, 2014.
Highlighting its commitment to bringing the newest technologies to the region, GE Oil & Gas will introduce its new NovaLT16 gas turbine that provides up to 37 percent mechanical efficiency, raising the standards of efficient and reliable oil and gas applications within the 10-20MW power range. Extremely flexible and with high operability across a wide range, the new gas turbine assures increased efficiency and reduced emissions, thus complementing the sustainability goals outlined by the region. NovaLT16 also features up to 99 percent availability and high levels of reliability with four years of continuous operation between maintenance cycles.
Another key facet of GE's participation is the showcase of applications by its Well Performance Services (WPS) sub-business, covering artificial lift solutions including beam pumping systems, hydraulic pumping units, plunger lifts, gas lifts, progressive cavity systems, automation equipment, well optimization and services for the oil and gas sector.
In addition, GE Oil & Gas will present its new Customer Training Learning Management System. This new web-based interface is designed to help customers develop their technical and managerial skills. This solution allows potential students to browse training solutions, enroll in public courses or request a customized learning path. The system also features a tool to measure skills and identify required job-specific competencies. GE Oil & Gas customer training is evolving with generations and developing suitable solutions to partner with customers and build talent in the oil and gas market.
Sharing the company's insights in innovation to drive operational efficiency, GE Oil & Gas President & CEO Lorenzo Simonelli is a keynote speaker at ADIPEC's Executive Plenary Session on 'Innovation and Leadership.' Several other senior leaders of GE will also share details on the company's newest technologies at various panel discussions being held at the GE Oil & Gas booth.

ALGESCO, a dedicated turbomachinery service center in Algeria is the largest GE facility of its kind globally, while in Egypt, GE Oil & Gas and Petrojet Egypt celebrated the local manufacture of the 1000th API Certified Sucker Rod pumping unit.
