OREANDA-NEWS. Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant (BVP Open Joint Stock Company, based in the Republic of Bashkortostan, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK Joint Stock Company, Moscow) has become a winner in the "Top 100 Russian Products" competition.

BVP presented its high-tech product, the cast plug wedge, at the competition. The factory got a diploma "For Praiseworthy Presentation of the Products and Services of the Republic Of Bashkortostan on a Federal Level and Productive High-Quality Work."

"Our success in this competition once again points to the high-quality of our products and strengthens our reputation as a reliable fittings manufacturer," said Alexander Kozhevnikov, BVP's Managing Director.

The winners of the republic's "Top Bashkortostan Products 2014" competition, which is a regional leg of the all-Russian "Top 100 Russian Products" competition, went on to compete on the federal level. A total of 46 republican factories, showcasing 89 kinds of services and goods, became winners in 2014. The contenders were judged according to three criteria: quality, demand among buyers, and product price.
