Against the same period of 2013, a number of tourists staying at villas, rest camps and other rest facilities grew up 51.5%, a number of tourists staying in hotels and motels increased 4.7%, a number of tourists staying in resort facilities rose 3.6%. Over the first 9 months of 2014 facilities classified by a number of stars accommodated 114,000 tourists, 50% of their total number recorded in the reporting period.

Most tourists arrived from Romania (24.1%). They were followed by tourists that came from Ukraine (11%), Russia (9%), the USA (7%), Italy (5.5%), Germany (4.9%), Turkey (3.7%), the Great Britain (3%), Poland (2.6%), France (2.4%), and Bulgaria (2.2%).

The net capacity of the facilities made up 36.6%, the highest indicator was recorded by resorts and health-centres (67%), the lowest being reported by guest houses (16.4%).
