OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' OAO Vitebskdrev is supposed to surrender to the state on a gratuitous basis two forestry farms - Beshenkovichi and Gorodok.

The government of Belarus adopted a resolution to this effect on November 4, 2014.

The book value of the Beshenkovichi forestry farm stands at Br19.144 billion (USD 1.782m); Gorodok - Br19.19 billion (USD 1.787m).

Starting December 31, 2014, the aforementioned forestry farms will be controlled by the Forestry Ministry of Belarus.

The forestry farms of Beshenkovichi and Gorodok had been controlled by the Forestry Ministry of Belarus until 2009 when they were surrendered to OAO Vitebskdrev.

Established in 1927, Vitebskdrev manufactures medium and high density fibreboards, wooden door and window units, palettes.
