The Minister of agriculture and food industry Vasile Bumacov noted that in the nearest future, the law on subsidies will be submitted to the government. Iurie Leanca stated that there are problems in planning policy subsidies, which this year there are not sufficient funds to subsidize investments made by the farmers.

The Prime Minister said that the Regulations on agricultural subsidies in 2015 have been modified to set the limit subsidies to ensure equitable distribution of funds across regions. Iurie Leanca stated that small farmers should not be discriminated in obtaining subsidies. According to him, it is necessary to ensure the equitable geographic distribution of grants.

The Prime Minister said that now the farmers from the South get little subsidies. Iurie Leanca also believes that the distribution of subsidies on the principle "first come - first served basis is unfair and needs to be changed. Vasile Bumacov said that the Ministry of agriculture is working on the new Regulation on subsidies in agriculture.
