Freight One Opens Representative Office in Kazakhstan
OREANDA-NEWS. Freight One Central Asia LLP, the representative office of Joint Stock Company "Freight One" (Freight One or the Company) the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was officially opened on November 14 in Astana. The event was attended by Alexander Sapronov, Chief Operating Officer of Freight One; Yerzhan Zhakishev, President of JSC "Kaztemirtrans"; Yerkhat Iskaliyev, CEO of "KAZLOGISTICS", the Kazakhstan Transport Union; and heads of transport and forwarding companies of Kazakhstan.
Freight One Central Asia will provide a full range of Freight One's transportation services and will enable the company to maximize fleet operating efficiency by optimizing logistics, arrangement of loaded return trips and traffic control centralization on the territory of Kazakhstan.
At the event Alexander Sapronov pointed out that the decision to open the representative office was strategically well-timed and precise, as transportation volume between Kazakhstan and Russia is steadily growing, major infrastructure projects are being carried out, and new deposits are being developed. All this creates significant opportunities for business development.
The Company's activity on the territory of the republic will be based on the principles of partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation with JSC National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, which signed a corresponding strategic agreement with Freight One in 2013, Alexander Sapronov said. The new representative office will promote further development of the Company's relations with JSC "Kaztemirtrans", the largest railway operator of Kazakhstan.
"Quality client service is the key priority for Freight One regardless of the Company's location. We offer the Kazakhstan market a comprehensive service package corresponding to Freight One's high quality standards. It features more than 15 products, including railcar, technological, financial, and forwarding components, industrial logistics and much more," the top manager stressed.
Answering the questions of the consignors, Mr. Sapronov said, "We consider regulatory certification of railcars through modernization being introduced in Russia as a competitive advantage, giving us a choice between service life extension and disposal when the service life has expired. Moreover, Freight One can purchase new railcars or rent them, while operators with new railcars don't have such flexibility."
