OREANDA-NEWS. Trailer KAMAZ Inc., a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Stavropol, started to mass-produce the new line of two-axle dump trailers.

The SZAP-8551-02M3/M4 trailer is designed for transportation of agricultural bulk cargo. The increased height of the sides allows transport cargo of up to 20 cubic meters. The cargo is dumped to both sides and backwards. The platform of the trailer consists of two levels of the sides. And the lower level can be fixed both below and above, depending on the cargo transported. The SZAP-8551-02M3 version features rear swinging gates. And the SZAP-8551-02M4 version features a tailgate with a top hinged section. The side panel is 2 mm thick.

The SZAP-8551-02M2 model is a universal solution to transport both agricultural bulk cargo and construction bulk cargo, except rock, coarse inert materials with high density. The platform of the trailer also has two levels of sides, and the lower level can be fixed both below and above, depending on the transported cargo.

The SZAP-8543-01M dump trailer is designed for transportation of various bulk construction and industrial cargoes on all types of roads. Its reinforced sides with panels made of steel sheets 2.5 mm thick, reinforced base and internal useful capacity of the platform increased to 10 (m3) make this model more robust in operation. The cargo is dumped both to both sides and backwards.

Due to the design of a new universal chassis on the basis of which new models were developed, the loading height of trailers was reduced by 50 mm and the center of gravity was lowered, which greatly enhanced the stability of the trailer by unloading. Hydraulic cylinders manufactured by the Italian company PENTA are used in the whole range of updated dump trailers. Another important innovation is an opportunity to use a two-position towbar, which makes it possible to unitize all trailers of the range with trucks featuring a trailer hitch located at the height ranging from 670 to 970 mm. The trailers are designed also with the use of new improved rubbers manufactured by Titgemeyer (Germany) to ensure the safety of the transported cargo. Closing mechanisms of the sides are much easier to use thanks to relocated springs and the new design of a handle, which simplifies the process of loading and unloading.

All trailers will be sold both separately and in combination with road trains, i.e. dump trucks can be unitized with appropriate dump platforms. And Trailer KAMAZ managed to keep prices attractive for buyers.
