UniCredit Bank in August Repays NBU's Refinancing in Advance
OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank in August 2014 repaid NBU's refinancing in advance. This was stated by the bank's CFO Giacomo Volpi.
"We have no fund from NBU. What was taken in spring was fully repaid, the last tranche of UAH 248 mln was closed in August. According to the schedule, UniCredit Bank had to repay refinance till February 2015, repaying ahead of time became possible due to the stabilization of the situation with individuals' deposits in the bank. UniCredit Bank has an excellent liquidity level" - said Mr. Volpi.
Last time UniCredit Bank received refinancing by National bank in spring 2014 under the scheme of repurchase agreement fully collateralized by the government bonds.
