OREANDA-NEWS. Imports of passenger cars in Russia for the first nine months of 2014 fell by 19.7% to 537.9 thousand cars. According to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, during the reporting period in Russia it was imported cars for 10 billion 466 million Dollars. Therewith, from foreign countries it was imported 510.6 thousand cars for 10 billion 256 million Dollars, from CIS countries - 27.3 thousand cars for 210 million Dollars.

Import of trucks in January-September of 2014 decreased by 19.6% up to 50.6 thousand cars with a total value of 1 billion 635.4 million Dollars. Among them 48.6 thousand trucks for 1 billion 386.4 million Dollars were delivered from foreign countries, the rest 2000 cars for 249 million Dollars - from CIS countries.

Exports of passenger cars from Russia for the first nine months of 2014 increased by 1.6% and it was 96.3 thousand units for USD 1 billion 111.2 million Dollars. Therewith, in the CIS countries it was sent to 3,3 thousand cars for 42.7 million Dollars, to CIS countries - 93 thousand cars for 1 billion 068,4 million Dollars.

Exports of trucks decreased by 16.3% - up to 14.9 thousand vehicles for 339.9 million Dollars. In the CIS countries it was delivered 3.3 thousand trucks for 117.1 million Dollars, to CIS countries - 11.6 thousand vehicles for 222.8 million Dollars.
