OREANDA-NEWS. On November 7, 2014 Moscow played host to a working meeting of Oleg Yakubovich, Senior Vice Chairman of BUCE Board, and Vitaliy Kolos, head of BUCE's Moscow office, with Maxim Ovchinnikov, head of industry and defense at the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia. The meeting took place as part of the preparations ahead of BUCE's participation in the Expert Council for development of competition in the metal industry of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia scheduled for November 19.

The Russian side received information about goals and objectives pursued by BUCE as well as advantages of using exchange instruments when trading metal products. BUCE representatives, in their turn, learnt about the plan of measures to amend the antimonopoly legislation within the frames of the "fourth antimonopoly package".

The sides exchanged opinions about possible use of BUCE's exchange quotations as price indicators in the Russian market of metal products. Some organizational issues related to the forthcoming meeting of Arkadiy Salikov, BUCE Chairman, with the administration of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia were also discussed.
