Phytosanitary Certificates to Be Issued in One Stop Shop in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2014. The government approved a regulation on the establishment and operation of a one stop shop for issuing phytosanitary certificates for export / re-export.
Agriculture Minister Vasile Bumacov said that the purpose of the regulation was to simplify the approval procedure for issuing phytosanitary certificates during the Cabinet meeting.
Thus, after implementing the one stop shop, four of the seven documents currently required will not be mandatory when applying for the phytosanitary certificate. At the same time, the economic agent currently has to make five visits to obtain the phytosanitary certificate and after applying the one stop shop he will only need two.
