OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2014. E.ON Russia Shaturskaya GRES has received the Certificate of operational readiness for the autumn-winter period 2014-2015.

Operational readiness of Shaturskaya GRES for autumn-winter period was approved by the special commission including management of E.ON Russia, representatives of the System Operator, Ministry of Energy of Moscow Region, , Rostechnadzor, EMERCOM of Russia and other regulatory authorities, as well as Segey Bakurin, Director of Shaturskaya GRES and technical managers of the powerplant.

In order to provide the ongoing operation of Shaturskaya GRES during autumn-winter period the relevant measures focused on improving the efficiency, safety and reliability of the power unit equipment and heating network of the town of Shatura were carried out.

The routine maintenance of power units No. 1, 3, 4, 6, midlife repair of power unit No.2 and overhaul repair of power unit No.5 were performed.

During the plant preparation for autumn-winter period a great attention was paid to employees training activities, including emergency and fire trainings, as well as professional skills competitions between employees.
