OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2014. M.A.S.I. Company, one of the biggest jeans makers in the Nordic countries, has decided to reduce output at its facility at Keitela, Finland and bring more operations to the southern Estonian regional capital Valga, Taloussanomat said.

It is believed that 35 workers will be made redundant in Finland. M.A.S.I. intends to bring manufacturing operations wholly to Valga and leave finishing, laundering and storage operations in Finland.

The subsidiary of M.A.S.I Company has been active in Estonia since 1998. In 2013 the company had annual revenue of 2 million euros and it employed 151 people.
