OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2014. Beltelecom constantly expands the existing Wi-Fi network. By the time the Ice  Hokey World Championship 2014 took place  Wi-Fi access points had been established in 299 roadside service stations, 31 border crossings, 68 bus service stations and 33 railway stations and 105 and 124 access points had been established in Minsk-Arena and Chizhovka-Arena.

RUE Beltelecom provides access to the Internet using a variety of technological solutions that involve the installation of both internal and external access points.

In the 9 months of 2014 Beltelecom established 131,095 Wi-Fi access points. The total amount of access points established in the Republic of Belarus is 280,566 with 74,968 of them- in Minsk.
In 2015, Beltelecom plans further expansion of Wi-Fi network up to 300 000 access points in the entire country.
