OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2014. “For active development of quality management, implementation of requirements of ISO/TS 16949 standard  and special demands of OJSC “Cordiant” – so, these words were written in the Note of thanks that was sent to Byelorussian Steel Works.

BMZ  and  Russian tyre  company started the cooperation in 2008. Byelorussian Steel Works delivers 11 constructions of steelcord and 4 types of bronze plated bead wire at Cordiant. This year, 10 thousand tonnes of wire products were dispatched to this customer, over 6 years about 83 thousand tonnes were supplied to Tyre Plants of Cordiant.

It should be noted, that the quality of wire products of BMZ was highly appreciated by the Cordiant’s specialists last year, when the Russian partners gave the first rank “Certified Producer” to Byelorussian Steel Works. Then, during audit the representatives of OJSC “Cordiant” payed their attention to  the flexibility of negotiations, the absolute clarity and openness of BMZ. The strong sides of the Plant were also pointed: the  availability of “living” management systems corresponding with ISO/TS 16949, ISO9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 requirements, the  complete traceability of finished products output: from delivery of raw materials to dispatch of products to a customer.
