OREANDA-NEWS. Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ROSATOM Nikolay Spasskiy paid November 4-5, 2014 a working visit to India.

He took part in the 20th meeting of the Russian-Hindu Intergovernmental Commission for Trade, Economic, Science and Technology and Cultural Cooperation, which was held on November 5 in New Delhi. The next day in Mumbai Nikolay Spasskiy held negotiations with the Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Atomic Energy R.K. Sinha and other heads of the Indian nuclear industry. Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation P.S. Raghavan also took part in the negotiations. The parties discussed most topical issues of the cooperation.

The parties focused on the situation with commissioning of Units 1 and 2 of Kudankulam NPP and with construction of Kudankulam Phase II.
