OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has become an Official Partner of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia (FKhR). In accordance with the agreement concluded, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company received the status of an official partner of Russia's National Ice Hockey Team, and this status also applies to male and female national teams, as well as national youth teams (male and female).

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company also provides insurance to the members of Russia's national male ice hockey team. The total sum insured under the contract amounts to USD 7.09 m. Insurance protection is provided for 56 people (39 players and 17 coaches). The insured risks include death resulting from an accident, disability of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd categories resulting from an accident, temporary disability resulting from an accident.

The insurance coverage is effective in the 24/7 mode during the team's participation in training camps and international competitions, as well as during the journey to the venue of such camp or competition and back in accordance with the schedule of games and training camps. Ingosstrakh Life Insurance Company LLC provides the insurance under the contract.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has a long track record of successful cooperation with the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia. To recap, the partnership between the insurance company and FKhR started in September 2006 when Ingosstrakh Insurance Company received the status of an official partner of FKhR partner, a partner of the Superleague, a partner of the Russian National Ice Hockey team and Russian National Youth Ice Hockey Team, as well as the status of the official insurer of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia.

Two years ago, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company became an official partner of the Ice Hockey Championship of Channel 1 held as part of European Ice Hockey Tournament and was a partner and an official insurer of the world Ice Hockey Championships among junior teams and insured the liability risks of the organizers for 10 million rubles.

Ingosstrakh Life LLC Insurance Company is a part of INGO Group. The company specializes in long-term life insurance, pension insurance and accident and illness insurance. It was separated from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in 2003, in line with legislator requirements on demerging of life insurance companies and companies providing other kinds of insurance.
