OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2014. The CIS Financial Banking Council and the International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC under support of the Executive Committee will hold the VII International Banking Conference of the CIS countries in Baku.

According to the Council, the Conference will be held on November 14-15, its business program includes discussion of such issues as functioning of the CIS banking systems in conditions of globalization of the world financial system, aspects of the retail banking services market development, development prospects of the regional and especially Caspian economy programs at the CIS territory, as well as other actual issues.

The Conference participants will discuss such issues as development of CIS banks, their cooperation with the financial structures, new approaches to the sources of capitalization and recapitalization of the banking sector including exchange products, as well as problems in the work of the CIS payment systems.

The Conference will include panels on development of the strategic financial and investment cooperation between the CIS countries, infrastructure projects in Caspian region etc.
