OREANDA-NEWS. On October 31, 2014 BUCE delegation led by Arkady Salikov, Chairman of the Board, made a business trip to Moscow. During the visit, a meeting with Andrei Danilenko, head of the National Union of Milk Producers (SOYUZMOLOKO), took place.

In pursuance with the previously signed Agreement on Cooperation, the sides discussed joint activities designed to intensify exports of Belarusian dairy products to the Russian Federation and worked out specific measures that would mitigate the impact of negative factors affecting the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.

BUCE top management and Mr. Danilenko also talked over the forthcoming session of the joint working group and agreed the itinerary of the visit to be paid by the delegation of the National Union of Milk Producers and the Union of Ice-cream Producers to Minsk in mid-November 2014.

In addition, the parties agreed to arrange business meetings of the Russian delegation with their Belarusian counterparts and senior government officials in order to consider specific issues affecting the formation of the dairy market within the soon-to-be Eurasian Economic Union.
