OREANDA-NEWS. It presupposes acid fracturing of the bench with strengthening of the etched channels using proppanat. New method was tested on well No.132s2 of Marmovichskoe deposit that had already been put into production and its rate of recovery has almost tripled. Development and scientific supervision of the idea is provided by the specialists of Belorusneft institute.

Implementation of the prospective technology will make acid fracturing more cost efficient on the sites of existing fund, as well as on the wells to be put into operation after drilling has been completed. Field operation programme, in general, includes testing of methods on five wells of Belarusian deposits for the period of 2014-2015. As all the activities have been performed, the specialists will be able to determine the prospectivity of the implementation of such new method.

This technology is being used very rarely around the world. That is why, according to the specialists, mastering acid fracturing with proppanat will enable entering international service market with innovative solution. Such big international companies as OJSC Rosneft and OJSC LUKOIL are interested in performing operations of such kind.
