OREANDA-NEWS. November 06, 2014. Due to strong demand on its Vilnius route, Turkish Airlines, the 3rd largest carrier in Europe, increases its capacity by offering a non-stop service between Vilnius and Istanbul. Effective from the 26th October 2014, the schedule will no longer feature Tallinn, instead it will be a non-stop service between Vilnius and Istanbul.

 The new service will run 5 times a week on Boeing 737-800 aircrafts, which are configured for two classes; Business and Economy.

"Turkish Airlines’, Lithuania General Manager H. Serkan BINYAR, said : “The new service from Vilnius is a direct response to strong demand we saw since the start of our service in June 2013. Turkish Airlines has had a strong year since the operation started in June 2013 from Vilnius to Istanbul. We also serve the most popular destinations in the Middle East, the Far East, Africa and Europe. The non-stop service will provide our passengers convenient departure times and better connections from Vilnius via Istanbul.”
