Kazakhstan, Belarus Terminate Agreement on Indirect Taxes in Trade
OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2014. Senate's plenary session has adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus for the termination of the Agreement between the governments of the two states on the principles of indirect taxes on exports and imports of goods (services) as of February 2, 1999".
"At present time, similar agreement is valid within the Customs Union. Since the document covers the principles of levying indirect taxes on exports and imports of goods (services) provided for in the bilateral agreement, dated November 8, 2011, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Finance and Belarus have signed the Protocol on the termination of the bilateral agreement which was concluded on February 2, 1999," the Minister of Finance Bakhyt Sultanov said presenting the bill.
