OREANDA-NEWS.  October 31, 2014. The Arbitration Court of St Petersburg and the Leningrad region confirmed legitimacy of a determination issued by the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in St Petersburg (St Petersburg OFAS Russia) to impose an administrative fine upon “Lenta” Ltd.

Earlier the antimonopoly body established the fact that the trading network had created discriminatory conditions for “Altaiskaya Krupa” Trading House”. As a result, the retailer was fined 2 million RUB.

“The Court support in this case is very important for us since discriminating suppliers can lead to an unreasonable price growth”, pointed out the Head of St Petersburg OFAS Russia, Vadim Vladimirov.
