OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2014. Within the framework of planned modernization, a GC “Titan” petrochemical enterprise – plant “Omsky Kauchuk” – undergoes installation of new control and measurement equipment.

The plant almost completed transition to microprocessor automatics, which increases reliability and safety of technological processes. One installed contactless radar level indicators which have Profibus outlet (Industrial Network for High-Level Data Transition). On nitrogen-oxygen station one is already using two newest Russian 16-channel thermometers ТМ5104.

In technological workshops one is conducting trials of a new program for economic accounting of TEI (technical-economical indices) – a proprietary development of the plant’s specialists. The program is able to conduct complex calculations on gaseous products accounting.

Let us mention, that during 2012-2014 plant “Omsky Kauchuk” realized a number of activities on technical refurbishment of the enterprise, the most valuable of them are assembly and installation of resource-saving equipment, mastering of technology for emulsion-free input of oil into latex, commissioning of central air compressor station, reconstruction of nitrogen-oxygen production facility, transition to modern, more active catalysts, modernization of thermal power plant.

According to the plan of reconstruction and development of production capacities, the enterprise continues realization of a program for reduction of losses of feedstock and ready products.
