OREANDA-NEWS. The National Bank of Belarus (NBB) has set the October 2014 deduction rate at 5.66% to compare with 5.48% in September, 5.44% in August, 5.41% in July, 5.31% in June, 5.39% in May, 5.20% in April 2014, 5.07% in March, 4.64% in February 2014, 4.25% in January 2014.

The NBB makes regular updates of the standard deduction rate - a ratio of the value of securities purchased and issued by banks.

The standard income tax deduction rate is used to calculate the value of assets drawn by banks and estimate the value of mandatory reserves.

The NBB standard deduction rate stood at 4.91% in December 2013, 7.42% in November, 7.45% in October, 7.22% in September, 8.73% in August, 7.87% in July, 6.21% in June, 5.54% in May, 5.35% in April, 5.18% in March, 4.67% in February, 3.99% in January 2013.
