OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.5% on the year in January-September 2014 to 544.2 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 51.003 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-September 2014 grew 1.2% on the year to Br497.5 trillion (USD 46.626 billion).

Farm output grew 3.2% to Br96.5 trillion (around USD 9 billion).

Belarus' government expects the GDP to expand 3.3% in 2014.

In 2013, Belarus' GDP grew 0.9% on the year to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 59.681 billion). The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.
