"Maybe we won't implement the business plan, we have laid down 39 000 units in the domestic market and 6000 - on imports. Six thousand will be reached. We have a problem with the Russian market. Roughly speaking, if there was no scrappage program, we could not fulfilled the plan for four thousand (units)", - said Mr. Harutyunyan, who was cited by the agency" Finmarket. "
At the same time, he said, until the year is not over, the company is trying to execute the plan - and the recycling program is a great help for it. Top manager explained that the company expects to receive 2 billion Rubles for the program, which will give 5.7 thousand sold vehicles at a discount of 350 thousand rubles.
"It compensates for our backlog of business plan, and we will be able to perform. If all we manage with recycling, the business plan will be implemented", - said a top manager. In this case the probability that the business plan could fail was called by Mr. Harutyunyan as "very small." "We are likely to pull out a business plan," - he said.
At the same time, he said, the company has not established a plan for 2015 yet. "I think that after all it will be reduced. Business plan was not approved, I cannot call. I think that the market will decline by 10 percent, well, it is somehow in proportion ... "- said Mr. Harutyunyan, by stressing that the figures have not been approved yet, the approval of the plan is scheduled for December.
Top manager also noted that in 2014 the Russian market of trucks weighing 14-40 tons could reach 34.2 thousand vehicles, the company's forecast for 2015 - is 33.1 thousand cars.
Previously the CEO of KAMAZ Sergey Kogoghin noted that the situation in the heavy truck market remains difficult. "Now we have concentrated efforts to improve the efficiency of the company. We have developed and implemented a comprehensive program that allows companies in a difficult market environment to reduce costs. In addition, in order to improve the efficiency of the company in the long term, we intend to implement a project to reengineer the auto industry and the launch of the new model series, one of which should result in a modern compact production. Currently, the work is underway to raise funds for this project", - said a top manager.
Mr.Kogogin also stated that the company may sell 41,000 cars for the year, "no more." In 2013, the company sold 43.8 thousand cars, respectively, at the end of this year the decrease may be 6.4%.
