OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC KAMAZ's designers have introduced a number of technical improvements in dumping superstructures produced by Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria, which are mounted on KAMAZ-6520 chassis.

The technical innovations of KAMAZ-6520's dumping superstructures are a shortened side guard on the left side in the direction of travel to the right edge of a side ladder, modernized side and rear ladders, mounted wheel blocks at the bottom of a platform on the left side in the direction of travel. The dump truck can also be equipped with an awning-winding mechanism, and it will be much easier to open the truck's upper body by unloading. In addition, against a customer's order, improvements can be made in a ratchet lifting and lowering a spare wheel to a reducer, the shift of a spare wheel carrier, the mounting of a spare wheel to a bracket with the help of a clamping plate with a locked nut (on a chassis without a berth).

Changes in the most popular dump truck produced by KAMAZ are aimed at its higher competitiveness and stronger position in the Russian market.
