OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2014. The Chisinau-Warsaw flights will be operated on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays on board a Bombardier Q400.

Eurolot has become the first Polish airline to enter Moldova’s market and to operate direct flights to Poland. Eurolot Director General Tomasz Balcerzaksaid has explained the introduction of the new routes to the Balkan direction, namely to Chisinau (Moldova), Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Zagreb (Croatia), by the fact that these niches have not been occupied by other Polish carriers, which leaves his company a lot of room for developing passenger transportation and encouraging tourism and business development.

Eurolot also operates charter flights on requests of other carriers, including Poland’s national LOT Polish Airlines. In the airport of Warsaw Eurolot’s passengers from Moldova can change to other flights, including those to Chicago, Toronto, New-York or Beijing. Founded in December 19, 1996, Eurolot is a joint stock company, whose 62.1% shareholding belongs to the state and the rest of the shares - 37.9% - are held by Polish airlines.
