OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2014. At an event today, CEPSA launched its butane and propane bottles in Catalonia. The meeting took place with the participation of representatives from the Direccio General d'Energia, Mines i Seguretat Industrial (General Department of Energy, Mines and Industrial Safety) of the Generalitat de Cataluna (regional government) and representatives from the Company and other market players.

With this launch, CEPSA begins a process of expansion in this market, where it has been present for more than 20 years and in which it is to invest the best part of 50 million euros from its expansion budget for the coming years.

This expansion of its butane and propane gas business (until now only available in bulk in Catalonia) comes after the Company carried out an exhaustive study on consumer energy needs.
