Belarusian Railway Opens New Route to Minsk National Airport
OREANDA-NEWS. On the 7th of November a new passenger train route will be opened and a modern diesel multiple unit DP3 will depart for the first time from Minsk Pasažyrski station to Minsk National Airport. The train will depart at 04.30 p.m. and 08.25 p.m.
Since the 8th of November 5 modern three car diesel train pairs DP3 will test run daily on this route. The first train will commence at 05.35 a.m., and the last one at 08.25 p.m.
The trains will run via Smaliavičy. Smaliavičy will serve as an interchange station and will allow the passenger, arriving from Orša, Viciebsk, Mahilioŭ, Barysaŭ and other regional centers by Minsk-Orsha-Minsk business-class trains, to change for the trains to Minsk National Airport. The ticket price will be 14,600 Belarusian rubles (from Smaliavičy to Minsk National Airport).
The train timetable has been developed with the consideration of the flight timetable, procedures, which passengers undergo in the airport, and the arrival time of the connecting trains, running between the regional centers and Minsk.
Please remember, the travel time includes travelling by bus from Minsk National Airport railway station to the airport facilities and is about 70 minutes (55-56 min by train).
