OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' proceeds from fresh beef export totalled USD 293.923 million in January-August 2014, up 3% year on year, Belstat said in a report.

Belarus exported 67,200 tonnes of fresh beef in January-August 2014, up 2.6% year on year.

Frozen beef export shrank 36.4% year on year to USD 91.73 million; down 40.5% to 23,200 tonnes.

Belarus reduced sausage exports 37.2% year on year in Jan-Aug 2014 to USD 122.552 million; down 36.9% to 32,300 tonnes.

Exports of meat and canned meat products stood at 10,000 tonnes in Jan-Aug 2014 (down 40%) to the tune of USD 52.336 million (down 38.2%), pork - 7,995 tonnes (down 79.2%) worth USD 38.254 million (down 66.7%).
