OREANDA-NEWS. Program of parc renovation in Russia may be extended in 2015, said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov. According to him, given the growing rate of sales, the main goal of the program - is to sell 170,000 cars - it will be made ahead of time that was set by the end of the year.

"Program of parc renovation is being implemented successfully. To date, it was sold 70,000 cars. The dynamics of sales shows increase with each new week - said Denis Manturov. - "October promises to be even more successful in terms of implementation of the program. There are no doubts about the effectiveness of the measures. And chances are high to reach the planned figures of 170 thousand before the term".

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, for the last week of October, sales increased by 20 thousand cars. Given the increasing pace of sales, the Office did not rule out that it will be able to perform the tasks before the end of this year. And taking into account the program's success, Denis Manturov said about the possibility of its extension in 2015.

The program has not only shown its effectiveness in the supporting of domestic automakers, but it also benefited the Russian economy. The spent 10 billion Rubles on compensation to car dealers will be returned to a budget in amount of 15 billion in the form of taxes on sold vehicles. According to the Minister, this program played a psychological role in supporting foreign investors' confidence in the security of their investments. In addition, the release of the domestic parc from old transport will not only improve the overall environmental situation, but it will also load with work recycling units.

Recall that the action program is for all categories of vehicles - from passenger cars to commercial vehicles, buses and trucks. The buyer gets a discount on the purchase of a new vehicle in case of the deposit of old car or via the trade-in.

The recommended size of the discount does not depend on the value of the old car and it varies according to the types of cars. For example, for passenger cars it is 50 thousand rubles for the removing of the vehicle from the registration and depositing it in the recycling and 40 thousand rubles - for the sale of a vehicle under the scheme trade-in. The maximum discount is able for buyers of trucks and buses - 350 thousand and 300 thousand rubles, respectively. Up to 350 thousand rubles will be able saved by owners of off-road vehicles, light commercial vehicles, trucks full weight from 2.91 to 8.2 tonnes or more.
