OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2014. National Economy Ministry of Kazakhstan plans to submit a proposal to leave the corporate income tax from small and medium-sized businesses in local budgets.

It was reported by First Vice Minister Marat Kusainov during a meeting with members of the Senate.

"We have a list of 300 largest taxpayers - to leave in republic, and the rest, small and medium business, we can pass (to local budgets). We have already addressed the President Administration in 2012 with such an initiative," M. Kusainov said answering questions from senators on distribution of taxes between the republican and local budgets.

According to him, this initiative was not supported in 2012, but the Ministry intends to make such an offer once again.
