OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2014. The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues e-government building efforts. The Banking Certification Services Center (BCSC), established by the CBA to electronize bank-customer relationship, was accredited by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in line with the legislation.

Accreditation of the BCSC will allow develop e-banking through issuance of e-certificates to individual and corporate customers by commercial banks operating in the country.

Currently, issue of e-certificates is under way, a methodological base is being developed; pilot banks are being selected. Banks and their customers will be certified after all issues have been settled.
