OREANDA-NEWS. A KAMAZ-5490 vehicle taking part in the Best Truck Driver competition of driving skills in Pskov not only won spectators' hearts, but also received a high appraisal from Pskov Mayor Ivan Tsetsersky.

The mayor of the city drove a road train consisting of the KAMAZ-5490 truck tractor and a semi-trailer and noted that the new truck tractor was a big advance in the development of a new product meeting modern requirements of the market. The numerous spectators who came to watch the competition also managed to examine the new truck tractor from the inside and outside. They enjoyed unrestricted access to the vehicle: everybody could come up to the vehicle and sit behind the wheel of the snow-white KAMAZ-5490.

Several managers of carrier companies, including Aleksandr Larionov, General Director of OOO Lar-Trans (Moscow), expressed interest in the new truck tractor and willingness to purchase it later.
