OREANDA-NEWS. The client requesting the equipment is OMZ-Izhorskiye Zavody OJSC; the equipment is designed for Gazpromneft - Omsk refinery OJSC.

R-202 regenerator is designed for a continuous regeneration of coked-up zeolite-containing catalyst by means of its burning from coke surface in the pseudofluidized layer.

The new device with an upgraded top head and cyclones of an enhanced structure is aimed at replacing the obsolete one.

The mass of the equipment is about 430 tons, the diameter of th upper part of the device is 11 meters, of the lower part - 9 meters. The height of the regenerator is 27.5 meters, the housing wall thickness is 24/30 mm.

The device will be supplied to the client in parts, with a further installation at the industrial site of Omsk refinery. The equipment should be supplied by the plant by the end of July 2015.

The replacement of the equipment is carried out within the scope the project of technical re-equipping of the reactor-generator unit of the catalytic cracking section as a part of the residue destruction complex of Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery OJSC.

Uralhimmash OJSC has had a productive cooperation with Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery OJSC for a long time: during the period 2007 to 2010, Ural plant manufactured and supplied complete equipment for the refrigerator, five twin spherical units, a coke drum and two heavy columns for the isomerization unit.

In 2011, two hydrotreater units 280 tones each were manufactured and supplied for Omsk refinery. The devices were made of chromium-molybdenum steel. The internal surface of the reactor shell was plated with a corrosion-resistant steel.

For this project, a large-scale upgrade of welding equipment was carried out at Uralhimmash plant: new units for build-up welding, heating units were installed, thermal kilns were reconstructed.
