KAMAZ Installes Palfinger AG Manufactures New Loader Crane on Trucks
OREANDA-NEWS. A new model has been added to the line of knuckle boom cranes, the Palfinger INMAN IT-150 mounted on KAMAZ 65117 and KAMAZ 43118 frames.
Palfinger developed the new design to customer requirements in cooperation with the KAMAZ Crane Center.
The IT-150 knuckle boom loader crane can be used as a truck-mounted crane, for example, in cottage construction. It can efficiently supply building materials to the second store of a cottage under construction. Knuckle boom cranes can lower weights below grade, making them ideal for construction of underground utility and sewage lines and foundation pits. Knuckle boom cranes have an important feature: they can lower weights to the ground level without impact.
An IT-150 series crane equipped with a knuckle boom and a hydraulic makes it possible to position a load more precisely, as well as lifting loads from behind an obstacle (a wall or a fence, etc.). The basic IT-150 version includes a way to control the loader from a seat mounted on the crane, providing a good unobstructed view of the site. The boom can extend to up to 19 meters, maximum load rating is 6.6 metric tons, the turning angle is 420 degrees, and a maximum load lowering depth of 18.3 м.
Knuckle boom cranes are in high demand on the lifting equipment market, because they have unique performance in delivering cargo to hard-to-reach locations. IT-150 is also RUB 150,000 less expensive than similar Korean product, making the new Palfinger design a serious competitor in the knuckle boom loader market.
