KAMAZ Helps Renew Bus Fleet
OREANDA-NEWS. The Scrappage program from OJSC KAMAZ is a great opportunity for the renewal of the urban and suburban bus fleet.
All terms and discounts under the Program also apply to the whole range of passenger vehicles produced by subsidiaries and joint ventures of the company. The list of vehicles sold under the Scrappage Program includes several versions of crew buses and dual-purpose vehicles on KAMAZ chassis manufactured by KAMAZ's subsidiary - JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, as well as Bravis small-class passenger buses made by KAMAZ-Marco JV.
Under the Program, Neftekamsk Automobile Plant offers low-entry buses accommodating up to 105 people, mid-floor buses accommodating up to 112 people, and also safe suburban buses to transport children and comfortable buses for intercity transportation. Crew buses and dual-purpose vehicles are based on KAMAZ-4208 and KAMAZ-42111 chassis. Both urban and suburban versions of a Bravis bus by KAMAZ-Marco Bargain are sold at a discount under the scrappage program.
It should be recalled that the principle of the Program is to enable users to buy new vehicles on favorable terms. Upon delivery of a used vehicle, the user receives significant discounts: 350,000 rubles under the scrappage scheme or 300,000 rubles under the trade-in scheme. These discounts can be given to the owners of vehicles (buses) weighing more than five tonnes, used for passenger transportation, and featuring more than eight seats plus a driver's seat.
