OREANDA-NEWS. October 23, 2014. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a cabinet where Vice Minister of Investment and Development Albert Rau presented a draft of the Comprehensive Plan for development of light industry in 2015-2019 in Ukimet Uiy .

"The dynamics of the industry is positive. Output of light industry was 46 billion tenge during the first 9 months of this year. Processing of skins increased 3.5 times. 14 projects and production of new products were implemented within NP FIID in the field of light industry in the current year. We expect to enter the targets despite some drops," A. Rau informed.

The main purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to increase production, to ensure domestic demand, increase processing, as well as modernization, maintenance and post-crisis recovery of enterprises. Comprehensive plan was approved by all public organs and will be adopted by the Minister’s order.

Energy Minister Vladimir Shkolnik reported on current situation with petroleum products in the country.

According to the Minister, a number of measures, including providing domestic refinery with oil, moving modernization of Shymkent refinery to the next year, imports of fuel from other countries have been taken to stabilize the situation in the domestic market. Thus, 68 thousand tons of gasoline AI-92 were imported in July-September, it is planned to import 272 thousand tons in October-December.

V. Shkolnik said that the Ministry has debeloped a plan of measures to stabilize the domestic market, which consists of two stages of implementation. In particular, it is planned to expand the geography of oil imports, create additional reserves of diesel fuel for JSC "NC "KTZ", to strengthen the control of illicit trafficking of petroleum products, etc.
