Bank of Moscow Summarizes Results for 9 Months of 2014
OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow summarized results for 9 months of 2014 in the medium and small enterprises sector. The total loan portfolio for SMEs as of October 1, 2014 amounted to 269 bln. roubles, having considerably increased against the targets set for Q3. Despite the slowdown of the corporate lending market growth, the loan portfolio in the SME segment continues to grow rapidly. From the beginning of the year SME clients portfolio has increased by more than 78 bln. roubles (or 1.4 times).
The amount of funds raised from SME clients over the first 9 months of this year amounted to 137 bln. roubles which is higher than the targets set for Q3 as well. SME clients guarantee portfolio amounts to 51 bln. roubles, having increased 1.5 times from the beginning of 2014.
A significant progress has been made by the Bank in terms of SME clients attraction. Over the first 9 months of 2014 almost 14,000 new SME clients have been attracted by the Bank, which is by 40% higher than in 2013. Today the SME client base consists of more than 120,000 clients.
In a large part these results were achieved through introduction of new services and features. For instance, the technology of 24/7-format interbank payments for the Bank's corporate clients was launched to insure convenience of corporate clients settlements (the technology allows transferring documents through remote banking system), also, a service of SMS-informing on account transactions was introduced. Among other measures, the Bank started the "Beneficial Partnership" Campaign. Within the campaign, the counter-parties of the Bank's current clients can open an account at the Bank getting all the documentation necessary for opening of the account certified on the free-of-charge basis.
"We are active in introduction of innovative services for small and medium enterprises, we support the development of municipal services and work with companies, engaged in state orders. Due to all that, the rate of our growth has been much higher than the market's growth rate. What we strive for is to continue being a trusted financial partner for our clients, as well as a convenient and a beneficial bank for performing the settlements," - said Vladimir Voyeikov, the member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow.
