OREANDA-NEWS. DIXY Group (MOEX: DIXY) - one of Russia's leading retailers of foods and everyday products - announced total revenue growth of 28.3% in Russian rubles in September 2014, and total revenue growth of 25.3% in Russian rubles for the first nine months of 2014.

For the first nine months of 2014, DIXY Group total revenue increased to RUR 164.9 bin (USD 4.7 bin) by 25.3% in RUR (12.0% in USD) year-on-year.

In September 2014, DIXY Group total revenue increased to RUR 18.4 bln (USD 486.8 mln) by 28.3% in RUR (10.4% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 14.6 bln (USD 386.4 mln) by 35.0% in RUR (16.2% in USD) in September 2014 compared to September 2013.

Retail revenue of Victoria Division increased to RUR 2.3 bln (USD 61.8 mln) by 8.3% in RUR

(decreased by 6.8% in USD) year-on-year in September 2014. The growth was driven mainly by retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets which demonstrated 10.0% year-on-year growth in RUR (decreased by 5.2% in USD) and amounted to RUR 1.9 bln (USD 50.2 mln) in September 2014.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.3 bln (USD 34.5 mln) by 6.5% in RUR

(decreased by 8.3% in USD) year-on-year in September 2014.

For the first nine months of 2014, the Company opened 269 stores net, including 66 store openings net in September 2014.

As of September 30, 2014, the Group had 2,068 stores under operation, including 1,943 DIXY neighborhood stores, 90 Victoria stores, 1 CASH store, and 34 compact hypermarkets MegaMart and MiniMart.

As of September 30, 2014, the Group increased its space by 23% year-on-year to 703,507 square meters.

In the third quarter of 2014, the Group demonstrated 14.6% like-for-like sales growth, driven by 8.1% average ticket and 6.0% traffic growth.

Starting from the 1st of November 2013, the opening hours of a major part of DIXY stores were reduced, in the course of stores' working time optimization. As a result, the time of operation of DIXY stores was 6% less in September 2014 compared to September 2013.
