Already in the beginning of November, Ford Sollers may choose the limit of state support for the utilization program, representative of the joint venture informed the newspaper "Vedomosti". According to him, Ford Sollers sold more than 2,000 vehicles in September, in October it is expected at least the same result depending on the sales structure. Preview limit on the program at Ford Sollers - is more than 4,000 cars. "The volume limits that were defined for us by the Ministry of Industry, we have chosen by the end of September" - the vice president of "GAZ Group", Elena Matveeva, informed "Vedomosti". - Formally, our program will end after the completion of registration of transactions - the beginning of November". By mid-November the limit of 40 thousand vehicles will be taken by AvtoVAZ, sources say. Earlier it was planned to do by December 15th.
The recycling program was launched at the beginning of September. Automakers have agreed to provide discounts on produced cars in Russia (from 40 thousand to 350 thousand rubles, depending on the type and scheme of sales - through recycling or trade-in). When by the program it will be sold 170,000 vehicles, the company will receive from the budget 10 billion Rubles in subsidies. To have enough money to everyone, Ministry of induatry and trade pre-defined sales quota for each producer, given the scale of the enterprise. Indirectly, about the size limits it can be judged according to the plans of sales within the recycling programs - for example, KAMAZ plans to sell 5,500 cars, UAZ - 17 000 units.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, from September 1st to October 5th, by the recycling program it was sold 35,980 cars. Weekly sales are growing and the overall figure of 170,000 vehicles will be reached by the companies at the beginning of December, allowed previously the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Alexander Morozov.
Ford Sollers hopes for expansion and extension of the program, said a spokesman of the joint venture. It would help to improve market performance in 2014, agrees Ms.Matveeva. If support is not forthcoming, the market in December, can sag dramatically, warns an employee of a car plants. In September, compared with August, sales of passenger cars increased by 14.7%, according to the AEB. Program should be extended to 2015, rather than trying to maintain the December sales, because the budget has deficit, according to an employee of one of the auto companies.
