Moldova Decreases Exports of Oil Products and Gas by 19%
OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2014. Within the reporting period, Moldova exported oil products at an amount of USD 11.3 million, up 22.6%, the gas exports declining 85.9% to USD 0.8 million.
The share of oil products and gas in the total volume of Moldova’s exports shrank from 1% to 0.8%. The share of oil products increased from 0.6% to 0.7%, the gas share declining from 0.4% to 0.1%.
Moldova is known as a net importer of oil products and, as experts think, when speaking about the oil product export, the matter rather concerns either the re-export or supply of the crude oil produced by Valiexchimp in the southern regions of Moldova or, possibly, the export of diesel fuel processed from the cruel oil in Comrat. Valiexchimp is also performing gas engineering around the village of Victorovca.
