OREANDA-NEWS. Anhui's CPI rose 1.3 percent year on year in September and on a monthly basis, CPI grew 0.7 percent last month.

In the first nine months, CPI grew 1.7 percent year on year. In September, the food price increased by 1.5 percent and non-food price rose 0.2 percent. Affected by the cost and the increasing demand, till September,the pork price grew for five consecutive months. In September, the prices of fresh vegetable and fruit grew 6.1 percent and 7.8 percent respectively.

In September, the prices of food, housing and entertainment grew 1.6 percent, 1.9 percent and 2.7 percent respectively and these three boosted CPI figure by nearly 1.2 percent year on year.
