Tele2 Launches High-Performance Product for Managing Its Business
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has launched a large-scale project on introducing an information system for managing business processes based on SAP ERP.
Strategic course for Tele2 development implies expansion of the operator's operations and better management efficiency. Tele2 introduces single business processes and organizational structure at mobile assets consolidated as a result of a joint venture with Rostelecom. To carry out comprehensive integration, Tele2 took decision to launch a single system for managing its resources - SAP ERP.
As a part of the project the company will use all SAP ERP function modules including SAP Real Estate, Treasury and Risk Management, Portfolio and Project Management as well as many others.
The innovation platform SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance) will be used to store all data in-memory and handle all operations in real-time.
Besides, Tele2 was the first to order Quality Assurance 2.0, new software developed by SAP CIS. Thanks to the service the company will get highly-qualified help over the project's entire life cycle - from compiling requirements for the software to its commissioning.
