OREANDA-NEWS. Bugrinsky Bridge has been opened in Novosibirsk. The rolled steel for this unique construction was supplied by Ural Steel (part of Metalloinvest).

Bugrinsky Bridge has the longest arch span in Russia; it is 380 metres long and 80 metres high. The arch span is connected to the bridge by 9 kilometres of steel cables. Total length of the bridge exceeds two kilometres.

Metalloinvest is the largest manufacturer and supplier of high-quality steel for the Russian bridge construction industry. In recent years, many iconic structures in Russia have been built using steel from Ural Steel, confirming high quality of the Company's products and reliability of supplies. Apart from Bugrinsky Bridge, Metalloinvest has also supplied steel for the construction of a bridge across the Oka River in Nizhny Novgorod with a total length of 895 metres and a bridge to Russky Island in Vladivostok with a total length of 3,100 metres. The Company also supplied steel for the construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi (Fischt Olympic Stadium, among others).
